Custom SMTP Configuration

By default, transactional emails are sent via Convoia's high-deliverability platform cluster. If you prefer emails to be sent from your company domain, you can configure your own SMTP relay.

Recommended Providers

  • SendGrid: High throughput, free tier up to 100 emails/day.
  • Mailgun: Excellent deliverability and reputation protection.
  • Amazon SES: Ultra low-cost ($0.10 per 1,000 emails).
  • Google Workspace (Gmail): Uses App Passwords for boutique academies.

Configuration Fields

Navigate to Admin Portal > Branding & Notifications.

In the SMTP Settings card, enter:

- Host: (e.g. smtp.sendgrid.net or smtp.mailgun.org)

- Port: 587 (TLS) or 465 (SSL)

- Username: (e.g. apikey)

- Password: (Your API key or SMTP secret)

- From Name: (e.g. *Convoia Aesthetics Academy*)

- From Email: (e.g. [email protected])

Click Send Test Email to verify your setup before saving.
